One Building And Wandering Ghosts !!!!!! The White House

 Imagine my friends that finally you got your dream trip to the white house (sure if you want to visit it one day) and while you walk inside it to discover it you find some people who work there they are talking about ghosts who walk there at night, what ghosts!!!!!!!!!

Strange but really some ghosts walk there at night or not, and if there are ghosts back to who? and how many ghosts are there?

The White House Story And Ghosts:

• The White House is the official residence and workplace of the President of the United States of America. Located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NE in Washington, D.C., the building has been the residence of every American president since John Adams in 1800. The term "White House" is often used about the president and his advisors.

• The building was designed in neoclassical architecture by Irish-born architect James Hoban. Hoban designed the building in the style of the Leinster House in Dublin that is used today by the Irish Parliament (Oiriashtas), or the Irish legislature. The White House was built between 1792 and 1800 using whitewashed Aquia Creek sandstone. When President Thomas Jefferson moved into the White House in 1801, he asked architect Benjamin Henry Latrobe to add low colonnades on each wing to hide the stables and storerooms.

• In 1814, during the War of 1812, the British Army set fire to the White House during the Washington Fire, destroying the building from the inside and burning much of it on the outside. Reconstruction began almost immediately, and President James Monroe moved into the partially reconstructed White House executive residence in October 1817. Work on the exterior continued and the semi-circular south gallery was added in 1824 and the north gallery in 1829.

All this is good and we know about the White House's history, but since when start appearing ghosts or what is the story behind them?

Ghosts of the White House:

The First Ghost, Ghost of First Lady Abigail Adams:

• White House staff reported seeing the ghost of First Lady Abigail Adams hanging laundry to dry in the East Room, and staff also reported smelling wet clothes and lavender laundry soap in addition to seeing ghosts, according to the White House Historical Association.

The Second Ghost Dolley Madison:

• White House workers confirm that the ghost of President James Madison's wife can be seen smiling from among the bushes, warning everyone who approaches, so no first lady dares to enter there or approach this garden for fear of the ghost of Mrs. Dolly Madison.

The Third Ghost President William Henry Harrison:

• It is said that William Henry Harrison, who was the first president to die in the White House, his ghost is said to inhabit the third floor, and he is known to have been president of America for only 31 days before his death in 1841, and some are said to have seen his ghost.

The Fourth ghost is President Andrew Jackson:

• It is said that First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln sat in the Red Room of the White House with the ghost of President Andrew Jackson and is said to have spoken with him and reported hearing him swearing in the Executive Residence, and President Andrew Jackson is said to haunt the Rose Room, in which he slept, and some watched him Lying on his old bed and laughing.

The Fifth and most famous ghost among them is the ghost of President Abraham Lincoln:

• President Abraham Lincoln became known as the "White House ghost", as First Ladies Grace Coolidge, Lady Bird Johnson, Jacqueline Kennedy, Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands all said they encountered or felt the ghost of Abraham Lincoln in the White House.

• First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt stated that she felt Lincoln's presence while working in her office, which was located in the Lincoln bedroom, where she felt that he was standing behind her, and there is another incident, which is that President Franklin D. Roosevelt's servant was once ran screaming from the White House after he saw a ghost Lincoln, according to Dennis William Hook in Haunted Places: A National Directory.

• The newspaper talked about some of the frightening experiences experienced by the family of former President Barack Obama, after he came to power in 2009, when the first lady at the time, Michelle Obama, confirmed that she and her husband sometimes heard strange sounds in the hall at night, and they also felt something biting their fingers at night. "We certainly hope he wasn't an ex-president," she added at the time, referring to Lincoln's ghost.

• Although some believe it is due to a long-dead White House pet, others say they wouldn't be surprised if they had visits from the "ghost of Lincoln" as well.

• The former first lady also said that she and former President Barack Obama once heard noises coming from the hallway outside their room, and they felt like the footsteps of a pet ghost.

• Earlier this year, President Joe Biden's staff made comments during a press conference about the presence of Lincoln's ghost in the White House, after he heard a loud creak of unknown origin.

• Lincoln's ghost, otherwise known as the White House ghost, is said to have haunted the White House since his death in 1865. His spirit was also said to haunt many of his former residences in Springfield, Illinois including his former law office.

• Notable people who are believed to have met him include George W. Bush's daughter Jenna Bush, Ronald Reagan, and even former Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

• Jenna claims to have heard 1920s piano music from the fireplace in their bedroom, while Reagan said his dog was always barking at Lincoln's bedroom door. Churchill also claimed to have seen Lincoln's ghost when he stayed in that room.

• In 1865, Mary Swart was executed on charges of planning to assassinate Abraham Lincoln, so that the ghost of her daughter, Ann Swart, would live in the White House and appear to the workers on July 7, the day of the mother's execution, for a period of 150 continuous years after her death, crying and wailing.

The Sixth Ghost Willie Abraham Lincoln:

• Willie Abraham Lincoln died at age 12 of typhoid fever in 1862, and in the 1870s, President Ulysses Grant's staff said they saw the child's ghost in the White House.

• The ghost of the 12-year-old boy was called "The Thing", and this ghost inhabited the headquarters of America's leaders, during the period of President Taft's administration, and it terrified the American president to the point that his workers prevented him from mentioning his name or even referring to his presence.

As we see my friends that place has many paranormal activities and my stories about ghosts but those who believe in ghosts will say ghosts or who believe in jinn or devils will say they who do that but ghosts or dark creatures the basic important thing that there is something there and what is it no one knows and why its there still no answer too.
