Many of you requested our topic today. When I started researching it, I thought it was one of the topics that fall under popular myths, but I was struck by the extent of the spread that this topic enjoyed.
Rather, more than this, the topic of today's
article has been linked in one way or another to documented sayings about him
from the Prophet of Muslims.
Despite all this spread, we only deal with it
from a research and scientific point of view, it is almost non-existent, if not
non-existent at all
We will not dwell on the conversation any
longer, and let us embark on a journey in the Arabian Peninsula, specifically
to the desert of the Empty Quarter, and its legendary hero, Jinn Abu Fanous, or
(The ball of light) as some scientists call it.
Where, in recent months and recently, the issue
of the jinn Abu Fanous has been reported on social media, and there has been
much talk about it, and it has even become one of the popular topics or trends
on social media.
Let's start by defining this being or creature or whatever it is in the next article.
What is Jinn or goblin Abu Fanous or (the ball of light)?
- Jinn Abu Fanous, Abu Siraj, or Abu Nuweira from his name shows us his association with light in one way or another, and indeed, according to what is circulating among the local population.
- The Jinn of Abu Fanous is a light phenomenon of unknown origin and source that appears, of course, at night and in the early hours of dawn, just before sunrise, in the form of a glowing luminous ball to the viewer from a far.
- This bright ball, which was likened by those who encountered it to the lights of a car, sometimes moving away and at other times approaching travelers and passers-by in the desert of the Empty Quarter, was recorded the highest percentage of observations about Jinn Abu Fanous.
- And if one of these tries to follow and approach them, they often disappear suddenly without warning.
- The inhabitants of those areas attributed this light to a type of jinn and called it the names that we mentioned earlier (the jinn of Abu Fanous, Abu Siraj, or Abu Nuweira).
- As for the goal of Jinn Abu Fanous, according to the locals, it is to mislead travelers from their path and push them to wander in the vast desert.
Stories of Jinn Abu Fanous:
If we made a small tour on social media, it
would confirm the extent of this phenomenon, and many people documented
different videos of their experiences with this mysterious light.
The first story:
- For example, we find someone talking about his experience with this Abu Fanous, telling us about the light that suddenly appeared to him out of nowhere while he was driving his car on a desert road that is famous among the locals as home to this type of jinn.
- And suddenly, a luminous object appeared next to his car out of nowhere, as if it was a man or something carrying a lamp. The man did not dare to look at this strange thing.
- Of course, the Qur’an, the book of Muslims, was the only weapon in the hands of the man who continued his way towards the public road, and as soon as the road lights appeared, this thing disappeared as suddenly as it suddenly appeared.
The Second story:
- Another young man tells us that out of curiosity, and after hearing a lot about Abu Fanous and the glowing light ball, I decided to verify the matter himself.
- Indeed, the young man headed towards the desert of the Empty Quarter. The young man went deep into the desert looking for the glowing ball, and after he despaired of finding it, he decided to return, only to be surprised by the lighting on the rear window of his car.
- The young man confirms that he was alone and the area is empty. When he saw the light, fear, and terror gripped the young man's heart, especially since the light was increasing its speed whenever the young man increased the speed of his car.
- Sometimes we see the light divided as if it were a car light, and at other times it appears as a luminous ball similar to the light of a motorcycle
- And the light, according to the young man's claim, was strutting left and right. The young man continued his way, barricading himself in the Qur'an, the book of Muslims until he reached the public road so that the light disappeared completely.
Did the Prophet of Muslims talk about the ghoul of the jinn or the jinn of Abu Fanous?
- Some link this phenomenon to what was narrated on the authority of the Prophet Muhammad, from the hadith of the companion Jaber bin Abdullah, saying: “...and if the ghouls invade you, then hasten to call the call to prayer…” and another hadith of Jabir on the authority of the Prophet, in which he says: “There is no infection, no flight, Not an animal, not a sword, not a ghoul.”
- Commenting on this, Ibn al-Atheer says in his book (Gharib al-Hadith wa al-Athar): “The ghoul: one of the ghouls, and it is a race of jinns and demons.
- And it destroys them, so the Prophet Muhammed denied it and nullified it, and it was said: His saying: There is no ghoul - is not a denial of the ghoul's eye and its existence, but rather it nullifies the claim of the Arabs in discoloring it in different forms and assassinating it, so the meaning of his saying: There is no ghoul - that it cannot mislead anyone, and the other hadeeth bears witness to it: There is no ghoul, but al-Saali - al-Saali: magicians of the jinn: that is, but there are magicians in the jinn, they have dressing up and imagining, and from it the hadith: If the ghouls encroach, then hasten to pronounce the call to prayer - that is, ward off its evil with the remembrance of God Almighty, and this indicates that he did not intend to deny it or not.
- Abu Suleiman Al-Khattabi said in his book (Ma’alim al-Sunan): “It does not mean denying the monster an individual and nullifying it as a universe. And do not fear them, for they are not capable of any of that except with the permission of God Almighty, and it is said: The ghouls are magicians of the jinn who bewitch people and seduce them by misleading them from the path.”
What is the truth about the Jinn Abu Fanous and its relationship to the lights of Marfa?
- From the foregoing, it is clear that most of those who claimed to have seen and photographed this phenomenon are Arabs in the desert of the Empty Quarter.
- However, surprisingly, in 1883, the first sighting of these strange lights was recorded by an American cowboy in Marfa, Texas, in the United States of America.
- Some of them have gained such a spotlight that many sightings have been reported regarding the name Marfa space.
- Of course, the foreigners did not attribute it to a kind of jinn, as some went to link it to the reflection of camp lights or car lights, while others linked it, as usual, to our alien friends.
- But the shadow of its appearance or not, and its truth and what it is, has not been decided at all so that the jinn of Abu Fanous, Abu Nuweira, or even the lights of Marfa remains a secret of the secrets of this universe that awaits those who will come to solve it in short future.
Do you think there is another explanation my friends for what that means?
At The End :
And this, my friends,
is what we were able to reach regarding the issue of the Abu Fanous jinn, the
subject that raised a great controversy and a greater question. Despite this,
the issue of the Abu Fanous jinn has yet to be resolved to this day.
Rather, no governmental
or scientific body has taken the initiative to study this subject, despite the widespread
it enjoys and the assurances of witnesses who went through this experience,
which extended from the east of the earth to its west.
Of course, we know with
certainty that the jinn is a world in itself and a creature of God’s creation,
as mentioned in the Qur’an, the book of Muslims, and it cannot be denied in the
Arab world, despite the controversy surrounding it in several respects.
Perhaps linking the
phenomenon of the jinn Abu Fanous with this world and these creatures is an
indication of people’s belief, especially in Arab societies, that in every
matter or phenomenon that has not been explained, the jinn will inevitably be
its hero.
And who knows, more
coming days may reveal the subject of Jinn Abu Fanous and other topics that
science could not explain
Until now, many of
these topics will likely remain in the field of ambiguity and controversy, with
the wisdom of God.
Hello, j’ai beaucoup des idées à propos de ce phénomène
