• It seems that he enjoyed torturing the prisoners, as some sources mention that he used to draw lines on the wall and order the prisoners to stand under them, so whoever reached the height of the line was executed by burning.

Human experiments conducted on prisoners:

• Human experiments that Mengele applied to prisoners, including putting prisoners in closed containers with high pressure, freezing them to death, or injecting them with a dose of malaria flies' saliva to find a vaccine for this disease.

• As well as injecting children with dyes and mysterious solutions into the iris of the eye, as part of experiments aimed at changing the color of the eyes, and these substances have often led to permanent blindness.

• Some prisoners were also subjected to transplantation, organ transplantation, or blood transfusion, and experiments related to offspring and fertility, and he even castrated some of them. Female prisoners were also subjected to contraceptive experiments.

• Josef Mengele was obsessed with twins and theories of genetics, which led him to conduct horrible experiments on twins.

• According to the sources, Josef Mengele collected hundreds of pairs of twins and spent many hours measuring the different parts of their bodies and taking very accurate notes about them.

• And he often injected one twin with mysterious substances and then began to monitor the diseases that afflicted him as a result of the entry of these substances into his body.

• Among his experiments was also that he used to clamp the limbs of children with painful clips to cause gangrene to them, and when the person subject to the test died, he killed his twin immediately by injecting his heart directly with the deadly chloroform, and then he performed an autopsy on the two bodies for him to compare them.

• In one of his experiments, Josef Mengele killed 14 pairs of twins in this way, and after killing them, he spent his sleepless night busy conducting autopsies on the corpses 28.

• It is said that the number of victims of Josef Mengele's experiments on twins reached 1,500 pairs without anesthesia, of whom only 200 survived.

• In the genocide camp, the Nazis killed more than a million people, including more than 400,000 who were victims of the brutal experiments of Doctor Joseph Mengele, as some sources mention.

The death of Doctor Josef Mengele and the disclosure of his identity after his escape:

• After the end of World War II, when the Russians arrived at the camp, they found only 7,000 prisoners, because about 60,000 others were forced to leave the camp on foot in very cold weather.

• About fifteen thousand of them died on the road. As for the rest, who were found in the camp, they were in deplorable condition, as they were suffering from extreme thinness, lice were spreading in their bodies, and they could hardly stand on their feet.

• Some of them lost their minds as a result of the horrors they were subjected to. As for the leaders of the prison, some of them were arrested to be brought to trial, which ruled that some of them be executed, while others were sent to prison.

What about the fate of Doctor Josef Mengele? Was he held accountable for the crimes he committed?

• Despite all the heinous crimes he committed, it is surprising that the butcher Josef Mengele was not tried for any of his crimes, as he managed to escape to Bavaria.

• Where he worked on a farm near Rosenheim for 4 years, then fled to Amarin South via Italy, and in the name of Jose Mengele, he obtained Paraguayan citizenship in 1959, and in 1961 he moved to Brazil.

• He was able to live with one of his relatives in Brazil, and he was working as a salesman in his shop under his pseudonym, Wolfgang Gerhard, and he lived in Brazil for the rest of his life until he died of a stroke while swimming in 1979.

• On June 6, 1985, the Brazilian police in Sao Paulo dug up a man named Wolfgang Gerhard.
