• The book “Shams al-Maarif” is attributed to an Algerian Sufi named Sharaf al-Din or Shihab al-Din Ahmed bin Ali bin Yusuf al-Boni al-Maliki born in the 12th century and dead in 1225 but not sure about this because no proof about his death till now, he from the city of Bouna, whose name has become Annaba today. He lived in the Middle Ages, specifically during the time of the Crusades, according to the very few historical accounts about him, although they speak About him as an important scholar in his time, it is assumed that he lived 102 years, which is possible, although it was rare in all times, and even though this mystic who possesses magical experiences strange to his era and religious milieu lived a long life and wandered in most Muslim countries (Andalusia, Egypt, Jerusalem twice, Al-Hijaz (twice, Iraq), except that the sources about him are very scarce. Contemporaries of the man described his personality as isolationism and extremely austerity.

• The magicians of this time look at Al-Boni and his book as pioneers in magic and astrology, but the question that baffles many is related to the content of the book. Where did Al-Boni come from with these magical recipes that were not mentioned before him in any book? it was not dispersed to collect them and were not secret to be announced by the testimony of the people of magic, Al-Boni came in his book Shams Al-Maarif with magical patterns that were not familiar with his era or the ages that followed, and the assumption that the book had been dictated to Al-Boni by metaphysical beings is not surprising, but perhaps the most logical Suffice it to say that the narrators mentioned the following on his authority: It was said on the authority of Al-Boni that the letters talking to him so that he learns from them their benefits and harms.

The Book Shams Al-Maarif Al-Kubra:

• The book was printed for the first time with 577 pages in the People’s Library in Beirut in 1895, and the manuscript was investigated by a Lebanese Sufi named Abd al-Qadir bin Abd al-Qadir al-Husayni al-Adhami al-Tarabulsi, and the latter attached four chapters at the end of the book with his pen. Later on, it was no longer publicly promoted for decades until copies appeared that were said to have undergone modifications, deletion, and distortion to become compatible with the laws, and it is always indicated by those working in magic that the commercial copies of “Shams Al-Maarif” were under censored and are not like the original.

• Specialists always advise not to read the book with pronunciation, and they believe that merely pronouncing the formulas mentioned in the book can lead to the evocation of metaphysical beings that may be dangerous to humans, and although the book sets positive intentions for magical works, the methods used are not without heresy and religious blasphemy. There are copies believed to be identical to the original manuscript that includes magical actions that undermine the sanctities of the monotheistic religions in order to appease evil beings.

• The title of the book is: “Shams al-Ma’arif al-Kubra wa Lata’if al-Awarf” (sometimes abbreviated as Shams al-Ma’arif wa Lata’if al-‘Awarf) in four parts and one volume of approximately six hundred pages. And the text of what is written under its title is: He said in Kashf al-Zunun: “What is meant by this book is that magic, its method, the names of the jinn, and the methods of preparing them.

• As for the content of this book, it is a strange mixture of understandable and incomprehensible information about sorcery and preparing the jinn, and it contains dangerous recipes and many sorcery.

What does the book contain?

• The book consists of forty chapters, and these chapters contain the houses of the stars and their uses in magic. It also contains names, letters, and the correct pronunciation to summon their servants from the jinn. And it also contained the names of the kings of the upper and lower jinn and the methods of summoning them, as well as the kings of the jinn that were under the command of the Prophet of God Solomon(We will talk about them in another article names and power) and other dangerous evocative sciences. Therefore, all scholars, unanimously, in all religions on the earth, preferred the extent of the danger of this cursed book because of the devastating effects it causes to those who possessed it, and this brings us to some of the victims of this book and what happened to them from acquiring it.

The First Story:

• The first story is of a young man named (M) who was suffering from forgetfulness and that he was on the verge of final exams. After prolonged pressure from his parents to get grades on him, the young man tried in every way to solve this problem. During his research on the internet, he concluded that a method in the book Shams al-Maarif al-Kubra strengthens memory. After research, The lengthy one reached the book and implemented this method. In the beginning, he did not understand, but after this attempt, everything changed, and it was a curse on the young man.

• After that night, he had a steel memory, and not only that, the book broke the barrier between the human world and the world of the jinn, as the young man was able to see and hear the jinn, which made him lose his mind, and after bitter attempts to treat him, the young man committed suicide and died

The Second Story:

• The second story is of a young man claiming (a) who was aroused by curiosity to read the book, so he searched for the book in bookstores, but to no avail until he reached a man selling books on a sidewalk and asked him about the book. It cost him a huge amount of money.

• The young man agreed, and the copy was in his possession the next day. The young man began to read, but he did not understand anything, which made him think that he had been laughed at by the seller, so he threw the book into the wardrobe. At night, while sleeping, he heard voices coming from the wardrobe, so he remembered the book, so he brought it, so the sounds calmed down as if they were coming from the book.

• So he started reading it again until he reached the chapter on marriage with the jinn, and he began to implement the method, but he did not feel anything, so he fell asleep. The shock!!!!!

• After he slept, he started dreaming of a girl of extraordinary beauty, who would come to him in the dream, and he would smell their sweet scent, and he would dream of her daily, until one day he married her in the dream, and then what he wished for would be obtained in reality with ease, so he was sure that what he married to in the dream was from the jinn in At first, he did not understand the seriousness of what he had done.

• Until his father suggested marriage, so the young man started to get to know his classmate in college, and he had planned to marry her, and here was the disaster!!!!

• So his wife got angry with the jinn and killed this girl in a traffic accident without any actual reasons for the car crash.

• As for his father, he was paralyzed for no scientific reason as well, which baffled the doctors.

• As for the young man, he used to see terrifying creatures around him and black spectra and hear their voices in all the places he used to go to, which made him lose his mind and try to commit suicide, but after several failed attempts, the young man tried to get closer to God, which reduced what he saw of spectra or heard their voices, according to the young man’s narration...

Sure no one knows if they say the truth or not but what we know is that this book is forbidden to read in it with an order with all religions on the earth because of the huge damage that it does to those who read it or have it so as I usually say my friends never start read in one of this books just to say I want to know what inside this book because believe me all people who died and who lost them minds start with this idea and believe me too this books not helpful its kind from making deal with the devil to sell him your soul.
